Car Parking: There is a reasonably large parking area on Rosehaugh Avenue across the road from the Main Chapel. From Rosehaugh Avenue there is walking access to the main road through the cemetery alongside the Main Chapel. There will  be limited car parking along the main road through the cemetery around the area of the Mortuary Chapel, and on the road around the Anglican, Catholic, Public and Services sections.  Disabled parking will be available near each area, but please note that uneven surfaces, large steps and sloping ground makes access difficult for anyone less than fully mobile.

Rainy day alternative: In the event of bad weather on 18 November, the official opening will proceed in the Main Chapel at 11.00am, followed immediately afterwards by Professor Geoffrey Rice's presentation. All other activities will be rescheduled to Sunday 2 December.

What to bring: Stout walking shoes, sunhat if it's a sunny day, and drinking water. There are no food or drink facilities in the cemetery.

Toilets: The toilets in the foyer of the Main Chapel (Rosehaugh Avenue) will be open each day, and there is also a disabled access public toilet 100 metres from the main gates to the cemetery. There are no other toilet facilities in the cemetery.

Dogs: Good dogs on leads are welcome.
